We are proud to announce that after months of waiting the day is finally here!

Our team has been working hard for the last few months to develop a set of tools to make web3 more approachable to podcasters and listeners.

Uncut.fm is meant to help podcasters monetize their community through NFTs and build a new podcasting economy—a world where hosts can use the blockchain to value their work and make stronger connections with their listeners.

Thanks to Uncut.fm podcasters can now mint audio NFTs automatically from their RSS feed in just one click. You just need to give the URL of your episode and a timestamp, upload your NFT image, and define your smart contract (price, number of copies, royalties…). Uncut.fm will mint your NFTs automatically and store the audio file permanently on Arweave for you.

Helping hosts and listeners through the journey

We know that web3 faces a significant hurdle in mainstream adoption: NFTs are still unfamiliar for many people, and the user journey is complicated and not yet optimal. When it comes to payment, we wanted to provide an optimal experience for crypto-addicts and newbies who decide to purchase your NFT for the first time. We partnered with paper.xyz and created a more straightforward and faster NFT payment process. From BTC to USD, listeners can pay using the currency of their choice without the need for a crypto wallet. We even cover the costs & time wasted from credit card chargebacks for you.

The business model of podcasting is broken, resulting in the most talented podcasters struggling to finance their work:

• Sponsoring requires XL audiences, and as a result, 90% of advertising revenue goes to the top 1% of podcasters.

• Subscriptions put podcasters in a dangerous content-creation treadmill leading to burnout.

We believe podcasters shouldn't be starving. Creators make our lives better. They put countless hours into professional-level content that entertains, inspires, and informs. Web3 has already proven community-based funding models are the best way to provide creators with the financial freedom they deserve. It's time to take that one step further and make it real.

Podcasters have been overlooked in the Web3 revolution. The world have seen an explosion of NFTs in 2021, but the audio space is still full of untapped potential. As podcasters ourselves, we've been super frustrated to see a lot of new startups creating blockchain projects for artists, musicians, and photographers, but nothing for podcasts!

This is precisely why we have created Uncut.fm with podcasters and their listeners in mind.
