At Uncut.fm we believe NFTs is the gateway to a new ownership economy where you can create value WITH your community instead of making money from them.
We are building the first on-chain podcasting platform where hosts and their community come together to create, collect, share unique NFTs and offer unique content and monetization experiences to their communities.
We currently work with a select number of podcasters-in-residence who help us shape their dream product. If you’re interested in becoming one of them, contact us!
Market is open!
We are excited to announce that podcasters can now sell their latest NFTs on Uncut.fm. In addition to having their own NFT page with their own URL now, hosts can publish their latest drops on the uncut.fm marketplace. An opportunity to showcase their podcast and sell their NFTs to a wider audience.
Take a look at the latest NFT from Die Ausländer. Beyond the opportunity to become the proud owner of his latest episode, Marc Alcobé offers his community of listeners some pretty cool perks!
You can now mint any type of NFT!
Our resident podcasters have asked us for the ability to mint any type of digital asset. With Uncut.fm, you can now mint any audio, video or image file as an NFT. Podcasters are using this new ability to offer their listeners pretty badass membership cards. Check out what the Bad Crypto podcast membership card looks like!
Last but not least, you can now offer your NFTs for free!
NFT-gated Spaces
Beyond a creator-owned marketplace, where podcasters can finally sell unique programmable digital assets without any intermediaries, Uncut.fm offers creators and their community a central place to join and interact.
Access to this community space is NFT protected and creators can decide to create subgroups for specific NFT owners (Collections).
Collect your fans’ info
Traditional podcasting platforms don't allow you to create direct relationships with your listeners, and certainly not to collect personal information about them. Why not? Because they don't consider them your audience and they don't want you to create a personal relationship with them outside of their platform. With Uncut.fm, for each NFT owner, you get an email and a wallet address.
Now, what’s next?
NFT is a great way for podcasters to create a new revenue stream beyond advertising and subscriptions, but we want to go further and offer hosts and communities the opportunity to pool resources and form Syndicates together.
Syndicates will allow members to allocate funds to collective treasuries on-chain - an essential next step in compensating contributors, giving them the resources to pursue community projects and initiatives, and supporting the day-to-day operations of individual creators.
Web3 is a radical enabling technology that could profoundly change the way creators interact and exchange value with their communities. Like other technological innovations, Web3 and blockchain in general are introducing fundamentally new business models, experiences and services into our lives. All of these represent significant opportunities to reimagine the way our communities are run. Web3 also represents a tremendous opportunity to create new avenues for wealth creation and distribution, especially for middle-class creators, who have not had the opportunity to extract value from their work and co-create value with their community in the past.
Finally, we own the future!
Great to see the progress! Looks like Uncut is shaping up!
