We’re super excited to roll out the new Notification Center on Uncut!
We’re all about building a place where our community can vibe, stay in the loop, and connect more, and we realized we were missing something big.
Like our Senior Product Designer, Nicho, says, “You can't pretend to be a network until you have in-app notifications..." And he’s so right! This new feature is changing the game. It’s all about bringing together info, fun, personal touches, quick chats, and discovery to make your time on Uncut even more awesome!
Our initial objectives.
It’s not just about getting the info; it’s about keeping the vibes and reactions flowing around new members, likes, comments, shares, or messages in your Uncut world.
This feature is all about boosting the fun by nudging users to hang out more in the app. It’s like a magnet, pulling creators and collectors into new content, updates, or features they’re into, sparking more exploration and interaction on the platform.
In our fast-paced world, staying on top of things in real time is key. We’ve crafted it to make sure you’re getting the scoop straight away on big updates, like new assets, messages, or comments, keeping everyone in the know with their network's buzz.
But it’s not just about the practical stuff; the Notification Center is also our way of shining a light on new features, content, or events in the app. It’s about keeping things fresh and encouraging you to dive deeper, making it a go-to tool for hanging out and interacting.
Design Perspective
We’ve designed our Notification Center with three different lenses in mind:
The Collector Lens
It’s got your back on asset airdrops, new stuff from your favorite creators, the latest collections, and blog posts from the collections you dig.
The Creator Lens
It gives you the heads up when your assets are claimed or bought, get a comment or a like, or when you’re the talk of the town in a convo.
The Social Lens
It makes sure you’re in the loop when you get a shoutout in a conversation or a comment, your post gets shared, someone vibes with your post, or you score a new follower.
And this is just the start!
We’re also working on sending out a weekly summary of these notifications straight to your inbox, keeping those daily emails to a minimum.
